Maryn Blanco is an up-and-coming fine artist located in St Louis, Missouri.
Originally from a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, she grew up in the desert where she learned to love bright, vivid colors and everything that grows. Maryn has always been a creator, and could almost always be found drawing all over classwork and sketchbooks, or helping her grandmother with sewing projects. Noticing that she had an interest in art, she and her family decided to find painting lessons. She began taking weekly art lessons at age 12, in which she began learning to oil paint.
Maryn continued painting and taking art classes in school in addition to weekly lessons all throughout high school. Upon graduating, she attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah to chase after a BFA in Illustration. After years of intense study of design, figure drawing, landscape, and still life painting, she completed her degree in 2021.
Since then, Maryn has enjoyed developing a studio career and is excited to keep exploring the world through oil painting, teaching, and photography.
